Environments, what?

I don't really know how to do these...This is the first serious effort I put into making an environment, and all things considered, it's not really horrible. Took forever tho and that is something that needs to change. My speed with coloring leaves much room for improvement. I find it pretty funny because I really went into this blind but...not too shabby for a first go. Top is the original drawing. Bottom is what it turned into...

This is the first step...

...along a journey and I have no clue where it will end. But here's me, the "artist" who doesn't post her work anywhere meaning it's not doing me any good. so that stops now. My stuff will go up and I will be encouraged to do more work so that I can post it and...well...I guess we'll just have to see where this all leads. It's exciting and daunting all at once, but I've never been one to back out of a challenge. Let the journey begin! XD
